This was a really interesting and important job to remove all the rust and repaint the structural steel framework in a new bar build in Dural NSW.
The rust had to be removed using an angle grinder, then all the beams were cleaned by hand with degreaser then painted with a Red Oxide Primer and covered with two coats of Black Metal Shield Epoxy Enamel Paint. No spray equipment was used, the entire project was completed with brushwork.
All the exterior eaves were painted with white Dulux Weather-shield, the hard wood barge boards were given three coats of Sikkens.
